Cala Brandinchi: Sardinia's "Little Tahiti"
Fine light sand, shallow turquoise water, and a view of the rocky island of Tavolara: Cala Brandinchi near San Teodoro is often called "piccola Tahiti" for its colours.
Location & getting there
The beach lies a few kilometres south of San Teodoro on the northeast coast and is easy to reach by car, with paid parking close to the beach. It's about a 30-minute drive from Olbia.
What makes the beach special
The water stays very shallow for a long stretch โ ideal for families with small children. A small pine forest right behind the beach provides shade, which is fairly rare at many Sardinian beaches.
Practical tip: In high season the car parks fill up quickly in the morning โ if you're flexible, come early or switch to the afternoon.
The view of Tavolara makes photos of Cala Brandinchi instantly recognisable.
Nearby
Just a few minutes away lies La Cinta, another well-known beach in the region โ if you want to see both in one day, they combine easily.
